Adept has a direct link to the property information contained within Microsoft Word and Excel documents. Metadata contained in these property fields can be automatically populated into Adept to reduce data entry. Once in Adept, this information is available for searching and reporting.

In addition, most Adept clients have a variety of corporate forms such as engineering change request/order forms, purchase requests, travel requests, expense reports, quotes, time sheets, and purchase orders. As these forms are completed, they are managed by Adept and the documents’ metadata can be automatically populated into Adept making it both searchable and reportable from within Adept.


Adept’s visualization tool provides native document viewing of Microsoft Office documents, along with versatile markup and annotation capabilities. You can view, print, markup and collaborate on Office documents along with up to 450 additional formats, without having to open the application that created the document.
