Microsoft Office Integration
Adept has a direct link to the property information contained within Microsoft Word and Excel files. Metadata contained in these property fields can be automatically populated into Adept to reduce data entry. Once in Adept, this information is available for searching and reporting.
In addition, most Adept clients have a variety of corporate forms such as engineering change request/order forms, purchase requests, travel requests, expense reports, quotes, time sheets, and purchase orders. As these forms are completed, they are managed by Adept and the files’ metadata can be automatically populated into Adept making it both searchable and reportable from within Adept.
Adept’s visualization tool provides native document viewing of Microsoft Office files, along with versatile markup and annotation capabilities. You can view, print, markup and collaborate on Office documents along with up to 450 additional formats, without having to open the application that created the document.
Leverage document information to find files fast, generate reports, and eliminate redundant data entry by linking metadata from Word and Excel properties and business forms into Adept
Easily create file relationships between business forms and other related files
Allow view, markup and collaboration on native office documents without need to open the native application
By enabling native file viewing through Adept, you eliminate the burdensome task of converting files to PDF or TIFF, and also the complexities of managing both the original and converted documents.
