Synergis Software Releases Enhanced Adept Engineering Document Management and Workflow Solution
New version focused on ease of administration, security, and Windows 7 support

Synergis Software, developer of Adept engineering document management and workflow solutions, today announced the release of Adept 8.2, a major update that includes support for Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit, deeper integration with Active Directory, SSL-encrypted data transfer, and other customer requested features.

Another highly requested feature added to Adept 8.2 is support for SSL-encrypted data transfers to and from Adept vaults – both inside and outside the firewall. “Adept uses the same level of encryption as online banking and online commerce sites,” added Cummings. “This added security option improves on an already unique strength of the Adept solution, the vaulting methodology itself. Adept vaults provide the security you need without scrambling document and folder names.”
